Lease with a Right to Purchase Program
About the Program
Fish MLS Realty has partnered with a national corporation to Lease with a Right to Purchase Program allows you to find a home that you want to rent from us initially, but may also like to buy in the next 1 to 5 years. They believe that there are many households who may be thinking about buying a home, but for whatever reason would like to rent at the current time. You can lease the home for three to five one-year terms, depending on the state, and you may purchase the home from us at any time at a predetermined price.
One of our agents will begin searching for a home as if you are the buyer. Once you find the home we work directly with our partner to negotiate a price and they purchase the home.
The Challenge
Many people want the benefits of living in a single family home. However, whether they're a first-time homebuyer who's cautious about making such a large financial investment, someone who has recently relocated and is unsure of which neighborhood to live in, or someone who is creditworthy but cannot currently obtain a mortgage, they hope to one day buy a home but aren't ready now.
The Partners Solution
Fish Realtors within this platform allows the opportunity for people to move into a great home and community today that otherwise may not be available in the rental market.
How It Works
Qualified prospective residents work with licensed Fish MLS Realtor of their choosing to select the right home for them. They can choose from a wide variety of properties in communities that HPA serves and that fit their budget along with the proper investment criteria.
Why It Works
HPA’ approach provides meaningful benefits for prospective homeowners, the communities it serves, and the real estate community.

The Lease with Right to Purchase Program (“Program”) is offered and administered by HPA. Prospective resident and property must meet eligibility requirements, which are subject to change. Resident must qualify for a mortgage from a third party lender to exercise the right to purchase a home. HPA does not provide financing for resident to purchase a home. HPA is not affliated with Fish MLS Realty or any real estate professional (e.g., a real estate broker or sales agent). Real estate professionals and HPA are not authorized to act on behalf of the other, and neither is responsible for the conduct of the other, with respect to residents in the Program.
